I Remember What She Said

I remember what she said,

all the things she made me believe

but behind my back she lied and deceived

I was so lost, lonely and sad

but now all the things she does

piss me off and make me mad

I looked at her every day

wondering how i could be without her.

Now everything seemed so clear

no regrets no doubts

I listened to her words

which were so very clear,

our paths will cross again she said

but i knew the end was near

I took her words and locked them away

knowing there would be no us anyday

I stayed by her side

waited for so long

but now my heart is singing

this hopeless and sad song

Now i sit here knowing our love is dead

still i remember what she said...
